OK guys, I have a question:

Remember when I ran a 10 (yeah that's right TEN!) K sans training?
Well do you think I could repeat that again this year?
Only this time it'd be on a bike
For 42
Miles
. . . ?

Then I'll go wrestle this guy:

(just don't call it a resolution)

onetime in santa monica i rode in a bikerace for 50 miles to impress a boy. i had never ridden more than a few blocks before, but i was like "50 miles? sure, i do that all the time. everyday!" and at the end of the race my legs felt like jellysticks and i threw up a little bit, and i had a cramp the size of texas. but you know what? that night was the best makeout i have experienced in all my life. except for the ones i have with "is this it?"-era julian casablancas in my imagination. and henceforth, i have associated bikeriding with getting hot and heavy and then talking to the bishop.

so i guess my point is: go for it, amber. i'll cheer you on from the sidelines.

dear little kieren,

oh hopefully i'll be as lucky were. usually most of my fitness challenges involve boys and that's why i forget about training or preparing before hand.

thanks,
the management

Who are you? What kind of person runs a 10K with or without training. You are not the girl I thought you were. Our blossoming new friendship is now...OVER! I hope you're proud of yourself. A healthy lifestyle: that is a deal breaker.
