Uh oh April

I´m out of the blasted country right when the best people have birthdays.

OR

Am I the smartest because I get to skip out on presents?

April 18 - my special lady friend who will make the only banana bread i can eat and is constantly brushing my hair

April 19 - my unusually smart, poker playing nephew who wins the name game (Arrow? Come on!)

April 22 - my LHHS persian princess who makes me laugh so hard i want to introduce her to strangers

April 22 - my friend who was the bestest thing that ever came from being a Mod Bride

April 23 - my Mother Teresa on Speed sister who makes me feel like a slacker and understands that i need closet space

And these are just the ones I remember off hand. Are there more this week? Probably.

One more reason to love America

We love our snakes.

Oh and there's Elvis

Now do you want to know why I went to DC?

1. Trees.

There were other photos but they didn't have Stacey looking so pretty (Don't tell anyone but I've seen better cherry tree gardens, sorry America)

2. Stacey

She constantly told me life was going to get better and brushed my hair
(and Yes @lisa, I asked for that hair style)

3. New Poses

On a side note. . . why is this my go-to pose when people tell me to be funny?

Ugh, I need to practice being funny.

4. But the real reason I went to DC was to get locked out of a running car is a bad neighborhood on Easter Sunday with only Officer Glover there to save the day.

Guys, do you know why I love America?

I love America because our kids are born like this

And our first President was hot

With the best posture ever

I LOVE good posture

So I decided to get an annual pass to Mount Vernon - Washington's home

because I'm patriotic and they had the best gift shop ever.

Ok maybe Washington wasn't hot but I would have let him adopt me.

We had so much fun playing on the grounds we forgot to see the house

Seriously - we skipped the main house. That's what the annual pass is for.

Stacey had to show me how to work on a farm

and I think I did splendidly

Guys, do you know what DC taught me?

That I love Winston Churchill more than I thought.
