Wow, I wouldn't have wanted to leave either! You are so lucky to have been invited to such a great event. As for your earlier post on effigies (is that the plural?), I, too, have been acquainted with this word just recently. They have been really popular around our parts lately-- we had an effigy of Sarah Palin (with a noose around her neck) and one of the Governator Arnold (which was tossed into a giant shredder at a tax revolt). Such clever people.
i met Rod Stewart's brother when I was serving in the St. George Temple Visitor's Center. he lives in Vegas and is mormon. Rod Stewart isn't mormon though. i think.
