I'm in AZ with my grandparents and I am telling you - they are Hilarious. Feisty and demanding as ever (in a good way).

We always thought that's where his tattoos (mermaid and gypsy dancer) came from. You know the two huge tattoos that cover each arm? Nope - turns out he got those as a kid.

Did you know Tata loved Nana the moment he saw her photo?

He decided he was going to marry her before they met. Nana took some convincing.

...They lived happily ever after & rode their pony to happiness

And that's who made three of these four people:

Here we have Uncle Manny, his wife, Auntie Graci, Mom. (In case you didn't know what our family looked like in the 1970s.)

And only ONE of them has a birthday this month:

They had a few little ones - including Mi Mama

She learned to drive in the '50s (she's one of the best drivers ever)

She had a few little ones that Nana tried to steal

(Alisa was always a handful. Doesn't Arrow look like Alfred?)

Then Mom entered the '70s & the hair got awesome

Two more little ones came along (we knew how to dress for church)

You know, the '80s could be awkward for some - but not for mom

The fun was complete & we could concentrate on partying in the '90s

One thing mom taught us was how to dress for the holidays.

Guys, this blog site is all crazy

I posted about my Persian Princess last night.
Now it just looks like I think her birthday is on the 3rd.
No way.

Anyway, right now I'm being taken care of by this lady:

I'm mad at her because she didn't save this dress for me.
I was even there when she was wearing it.
I probably even told her how much I liked it.

Whatever, I'm over it. It's fine.

Guys, It's a Special Month Today

It's when I can celebrate the birth of some special ladies.

One of them made me a godmother because I got too old to have my own babies.

People say I look like one of them and one of them is my mom.

Then there was this puppy:
He started to loose his fur when his human 'parents' had their baby.

I didn't want to touch him but also loved him at the same time.

Guys, did you know my Monkey sister is a photographer?

As Ash was documenting my last few hours in NY she kept modestly comparing herself to Steven Meisel.

What I love is that she captured my belongings taking over her apt & of course Di's mood

Nah, my stuff wasn't so bad & Di was seriously such a barrel of laughs that night. Good job, Ash.



But when I said she captured my last few hours - I also meant she captured my last few minutes:
Here I am as the Consumption moved in (had no idea she took this photo until I got better). Do you see my luggage on the far right taking over the Virgin Terminal?


Because as you can see again on the far right, I REALLY took over that terminal with my 10 50+lbs bags and 2 carry-ons and one fragile kitty hat. And 'yes' I also fly looking like a homeless person

But, back to babies

So now that I live in CA and am not dying of mystery Consumption we can get back to Babies.

As much as I love Kitty, she really needs to work on her balance.

But at least At Least she's modest

Guys, it's funny . . .

. . . & I almost die.


It's funny because it's over & I lived.
Ok, I didn't almost die - but I wanted to.
That reminds me of that one part in Goonies, where Chunk says, 'OK Michael Jackson didn't visit my house . . . but his sister did.'

When I was trying to get my voice back I talked to My Persian Princess and she said lovingly that I sounded like Sloth.
It's true - and the sad part was - I was super proud of the way I sounded

But I speak normal now so let's all have a big laugh about it all.
